NTT Electronics to Exhibit New Products and Technologies at "IBC2012"

NTT Electronics Corporation will jointly exhibit with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation(NTT) and NTT Advanced Technology Corporation(NTT-AT) at IBC2012 (Booth No. 2.C50(System), 2.C41(Device)). This is the largest show for the broadcasting market in Europe and is held September 7-11 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Experience the 1 Frame Latency and HD 3 Mbps with Contribution Quality AVC/H.264 Codec

At our IBC2012 exhibit, we will input HD-SDI stream from the original video source into the HVE9200 for AVC/H.264 format encoding and then, we will decode it with our decoder for output to a monitor. You can witness the difference in delay level (1 Frame Latency) and image quality (Low Bit Rate) between the original video source and the decoded image.

HVE9200 is a suitable encoder for contribution application. By strengthening the latency function, real time performance are better than ever. Furthermore the improvement on picture quality for Low Bit Rate allows us to target application such as HD 3Mbps for news gathering. This encoder is the suitable solution for SNG and transmission between the stations.

HVE9230 (tentative name) : Embedded 16ch Audio AVC/H.264 HDTV/SDTV Encoder for World Sports Event

At the IBC2012 exhibit, we will demonstrate one-frame, ultra-low delays and video quality enhancement in extremely low-bit-rate.

SARADEC2 : 10bit H.264/AVC MPEG-2 HDTV 4:2:2 1080/60p Decoder LSI

The SARADEC2 is a new decoder LSI that supports 10-bit H.264/AVC, which is suitable for High-end contribution applications and inherits the interoperability, error resistance and low-delay performance from SARADEC LSI. With enhanced performance, it is capable to handle with 1080/60P decoding by a single chip.

At the IBC2012 exhibit, we are demonstrating one-frame, ultra-low delays, and video quality enhancement in extreme low-bit-rate as well as 1080/60P application which a real-time decoder for 10-bit H.264/AVC stream data is connected to the H.264/AVC encoder ARQENC, a sister product of the SARADEC2.
