Technologies on exhibition:

NTT Electronics Exhibits

HEVC Multi Channel Encoder
HEVC Codec 4K 120ms Latency

Using an in-house ASIC, HC11000 Series is NTT Electronics’ 4:2:2 10bit HEVC multi-channel and 4K HDR real-time contribution/distribution encoder. It has the capability to transmit broadcasting quality video images in low bitrate, low latency with low power consumption. HC11000 has the scalable capability from SD to HD and to 4K 50/60p.

HC11000 series has the necessary functions as well as the promising stability to be used in the Olympics, World Cup, and other World Class Sporting events. It is the suitable solution for premium sports contents. HEVC technology will help reduce bandwidth and save operational cost while maintaining high quality. Also by using multi-channel, it will lower the price per channel.

At IBC2018, we will exhibit the multi-channel and 4K decoded images using our real-time encoder and decoder to demonstrate our high picture quality.

Low Latency 4K HEVC Content Delivery with CDN

< Conceptual demonstration >
MPEG-DASH-based low latency 4K HEVC live streaming technology over CDN.

A combination of an in-house encoder LSI and UDP base uploader reduces the end-to-end latency down to 4-5 seconds, which enables stable 4K live video delivery over CDN.

Real-time 8K/120p HEVC Encoding and Decoding

Real-time 4K/120p HEVC codec will be exhibited at IBC show 2018. We will demonstrate real-time encoding and decoding of 8K/120p content by parallel processing of our real-time 4K/120p codec systems.

Toward 2020 Tokyo Olympic games, we will continue to make innovations happen for delivering further immersive video experiences.

NTT DOCOMO Exhibit

Spherical Drone Display

Spherical drone display is a world's first device that can display a high resolution image in all directions from anywhere in 3D space. The new version achieved more than 10 times higher resolution than conventional models by mounting newly designed LED and control boards. The highly maneuverable drone can be operated virtually anywhere, including venues such as concert halls or arenas where it can fly around as part of a performance or deliver advertising messages, event information, etc.

NTT DATA Exhibit

High Accurate Digital Contents Tracking
New Possibility of NTT AI Technologies

Service for visualizing “Genealogy information of the contents material” automatically by fingerprint technology.

Reduce manual work for figuring out the genealogy information.

Search the original contents material(proxy) from the existing archive data automatically in high-accuracy with high-speed.
