DESCRIPTION
Development of non-destructive testing technology using THz waves, which have high permeability to paper, ceramics, and plastics, is in progress.
Depending on the THz light source used, there are two methods: one using pulsed THz waves and the other using CW THz waves.
In the CW THz method, even if the inspection object is composed of multiple materials, each material has a different absorption frequency, so that images with high contrast can be obtained.
